Batman continues his work in the future despite of his lack of training.
Tim Drake is still not accustomed of being the hero of this era and doesn't know exactly what to do. However, once that Brother Eye increases his attack against the people, he will have no choice but to learn quick.
This title continues and sadly, is still not impressive.
Dan Jurgens delivers a new chapter where he continues to focus on how different Tim Drake is from Terry McGuinnis and how this time used to really respect the latter due to his actions and now Tim needs to live up to them. It's a pretty usual trope in writing but it still gets the job done due that the characterization is solid at the very least and you certainly feel invested in Tim's success.
Some of the ideas are surprisingly interesting especially concerning how Brother Eye works and how it starts controlling people. However, there are also pretty cliche thughs and villains that sadly make a story that could have been interesting simply average.
Some of the dialogue is not particularly inventive due that at times, it lacks certain wit.
Bernard Chang continues to handle the art and his work is still beautiful with great storytelling and gorgeous characters.
Overall, I would say this issue is okay once again. Nothing better nor worse.
