Some thoughts about Black Canary #2

Black Canary is on the run.

After a strange group of creatures wanted to caught one of the members of the band, Dinah will have no other choice but teach them how to defende themselves from anything and they will need it since Dinah's own past is going back to hurt everyone.

Once again, this proves to be a pretty distinctive read.

Brenden Fletcher arrives with a new chapter where he focuses on how different Dinah is from the rest of the members of the band and how her past life is slowly being revealed to them. The way how the writer uses some of the most important events in her life is subtle and goes straight to the point, this is especially good for people who are familiar with her story in this continuity.

The rest of the cast are fortunately interesting too due that they receive enough good moments to show the kind of persons they are and even a new character is introduced here who, based on solicitations, is going to become much more important in the future.

Also, the last page was a nice surprise.

Annie Wu continues on art duties and the best aspect of her work is the storytelling with layouts that show a pretty unique perspective from the events that are happening and a clear vision of it.

Pretty solid issue, definitely check it out.
