Captain Strong has lost his mind and is up to Harley to stop him.
The seaweed that Captain Strong has been consuming is starting to make him dangerously powerful and if Harley wants to be able to face him, she will need to try such strange plant by herself. This might not be the best idea.
Really, this book always surprise me about the places where it can go.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner continue their story about this particular Popeye parody while showing the kind of effects that the seaweed he has been eating has on him. This is pretty much a drug and the writers know to depict as such, especially when Harley also eats it.
Which is by far one of the most interesting segments from the issue. The hallucinations that Harley has pretty much present the opportunity to tell a completely different story that you wouldn't be able to see in any other way. The interpretation of all the Batman characters in this world was also quite entertaining.
Chad Hardin is in charge of the main sections and his work is still strong as ever with a pretty polished ad humoristic look thanks to the expressions he's able to portray. However, Jed Dougherty's work in the hallucination section proves to be incredibly creative too, not saying much about it because of SPOILERS.
Great issue, highly entertaining.
