More and more villains are coming after Superman but who is the one responsible?
This time the Suicide Squad has been hired to defeat Clark and now Diana and him will have no choice but fight for their lives. However, Clark nows that there are battles he will need to fight to on his own.
Truth continues and is still a pretty strong event.
Peter Tomasi delivers a new chapter where he focuses on the conflict between the protagonists and the Suicide Squad. Fortunately, the author knows how to portray the whole cast by giving each one of them the right characterization and voice, as far as classic superhero fights go, this is a solid one.
The best part belongs to the portrayal of the relationship between Clark and Diana though due that their interactions continue to be pretty natural and logical. Clark's decision after this particular battle is also understandable.
Plus, the main plot continues to progress adequately. No complaints.
Doug Manhke continues his work in pencils and is still a quite beautiful one with the right storytelling skills and great character models.
Enjoyable issue, hopefully the following one will be as good if not better.
