Some thoughts about Transformers: Windblade #5

Windblade and her friends will need to play with Velocitron's own rules.

Forced into a race for the future cooperation between Cybertron and Caminus, Blurr will have to demonstrate his skills but he might not be ready for the kind of tricks these people are used to.

The story of this title continues and frankly, it didn't work so well.

Mairghread Scott delivers a new chapter of this ongoing and there are some positive aspects about it. The worldbuilding is pretty solid by continuing the introduction of different characters from the Transformers universe like Override and giving them some logical developments as well as exploring the kind of traditions they have in caminus.

However, the plot itself progresses kind abruptly due that the end of such race was pretty easy and was faster than one could have imagined. The overall conclusion felt rushed and one can't stop thinking that this might be because of the upcoming cancellation of the book.

Corin Howell remains in art duties and his work is not the best looking due that his cartoony style that is not really suited for the book. It tells the story decently but it could be better.

And this is my final thought for the issue, it could have been better. Some things were nice, others not so much.
