Section Eight want to recruit one of the most powerful superheroes that they can find but is that person willing to accept the offer?
Six Pack knows that if he wants to face the threat that is arriving he will need all the help he can get and Green Lantern is the right person for such job. At least that's what Six Pack thinks.
Okay, this was frikking hilarious.
Garth Ennis delivers a new installment where he continues making bizarre adventures for all these strange superhero parodies and does it with the kind of crude humour you would expect from him. From Six Pack's delusional behavior, to The Grapplah's constant mention of his own name, to Bueno Excellente... well, Bueno Excellente.
The dynamic with the rest of the real world is also portrayed in a comical way but the issue hits its funniest moments once that Six Pack finds Hal Jordan who knows who Six Pack is and has no desire to stay with him any longer due that he knows what happened to Kyle when they met. This is especially great because Hal actually seems to be talking to the creators themselves.
John McCrea continues on art duties and his work is still appropriate for the book with really weird-looking characters and gross depiction of all the events that happen here.
Excellente issue! This is just what I needed.
