Swerve's life is in danger and the only way to save him is to get into an even weirder world.
The crew from the Lost Light has suddenly discovered that Swerve has disappeared and they will need to project their own consciences in an universe of his own making. However, even if they manage to save him, their problems are far from over.
Well, this issue got pretty silly and insightful at the same time.
James Roberts arrives with a new story that perfectly reflects the kind of character that Swerve is by focusing on a world that is pretty similar to ours but it's mostly derived from sitcoms and thus has little resemblance to reality. The way how the author manages to depict that kind of shows is certainly accurate and entertaining but at the same time is able to connect in a more meaningful way to the protagonist of this story.
One of the most enjoyable aspects here is the way how the holomatter avatars of the characters are presented and they're certainly interesting for the people they represent. Based on this kind of premise, I would love to see an exploration about their different psyches in the future and how they're connected to this kind of portrayals.
Speaking of such avatars, Alex Milne manages to create beautiful human characters from the cast, the most compelling designs including Cyclonus, Bluestreak, Rodimus and Megatron. The overall look of the issue is stunning.
Excellent chapter, can't wait to see where the story is going based on the last page.
