Some thoughts about Earth 2: Society #2

What is so terrible that even Terry Sloan is scared of it?

Since they arrived in their new home, Sloan has done nothing but trying to escape from the people who are chasing him but he believes that they all need to work together to try to save this new world.

GOD. FRIKKING. DAMMIT!

Daniel H. Wilson has learned absolutely nothing about how to write comics. While the pacing in the last issue was somewhat acceptable, the one we see in this chapter is all over the place, the story jump continually not only from place to place but also from present to past in a quite chaotic way. Is even more ridiculous when the plot flips immediately to another section while is still focusing on the same damn cast which doesn't feel natural in the slightlest.

About the characterization, that's another low point. The Sandmen supposedly didn't trust Sloan before but then they do it at the drop of a hat with no proper explanation nor transition for this kind of behavior. Although I will admit that it was nice to see Alan Scott as the guardian of the planet.

Finally the story, nothing to write about, all of it seems so random and lacking proper good moments.

Jorge Jimenez is still on art duties and yeah, this is not the right book for him. Wilson's storytelling is terrible and sadly Jimenez is not good enough at making things any clearer.

Awful issue, new creative team please.
