Aquaman continues to escape from his own people.
There's something controlling Atlantis and has turned it against its own King, but there might be bigger things to worry about considering that a disaster is about to happen around the world.
Okay, I'm actually enjoying this.
Cullen Bunn delivers a new installment where he continues to develope the mistery around the betrayal of Atlantis and why they're suddenly trying to capture Aquaman. The pieces of the past present some clues about where the story is going and the present segments also progress the main plot.
One of the most interesting points about this is the constant mention of relics that are actually connected to Atlantis and that could prove to be an interesting plot-point. It was also good to see all characters from the series like Charybdis, Scilla and King Shark although this King Shark seems completely different from the one who appeared in Suicide Squad which could be because some editorial mistake.
Trevor McCarthy remains in pencils and his work is still beautiful with some really creative layouts and storytelling.
Solid issue, I won't tell you is the greatest thing ever but I did like it.
