Some thoughts about The Flash #42

The Flash will need to confront the man who made his life hell.

The Reverse-Flash is back but nobody is sure about what his true plans are and Barry's father is ready to protect his son no matter what. Although not even his help could be enough.

This was certainly a solid chapter.

Robert Venditti and Van Jensen continue their story about the reintroduction of The Reverse-Flash while focusing on the dynamic between the characters who appear here. The interaction is well-done based on the scenes shared between Barry and Iris, Henry and the Rogues, Girder and The Flash, etc. It allows for a nice experience.

The characterization is also interesting for some of the member of the cast including Girder who demonstrates an interesting background considering the kind of being he is. The Reverse-Flash also presents a powerful menace.

Brett booth continues in art duties and his work is quite kinetic as usual, the scenes between the speedsters is especially well-done.

Enjoyable issue, hope things continues to improve from now on.
