Some thoughts about Red Hood and the Outlaws #33

Starfire will always fight for the freedom of others as well as hers.

After her encounter from a strange alien ship, Starfire is forced to remember her past life as well as her initial mission. Now, both Jason and Roy will have to find her before it's too late.

Well, so far so good I would say.

Scott Lobdell's return to the title is something that most people weren't even considering but it's something that has given new life to the title. The sense of adventure, energy and friendship between the protagonists is back in full force.

The issue is mostly focused in Starfire and presents her as a pretty competent heroine and touches different points of her background which contain some of the stories that Lobdell himself wrote in the past as well as her origin.

Is not exactly perfect though, at times the dialogue is a bit unnatural and kinda dated due to Lobdell's desire to use thought bubbles as well as narration boxes to present what's currently happening. It's not something that really ruins the story but it's a noticeable flaw.

R.B. Silva is in charge of the pencils and he does one of his best works in a while with really expressive characters, beautiful scenarios and a quite distinctive style. The colors certainly helped to make all much better.

Satisfying issue despite of some problems, shame that Lobdell is apparently off the title again.
