Some thoughts about Superboy #33

Superboy will have to fight his own subconscious if he wants to survive.

Jon Lane Kent has spents mots of his life isolated from the world living in his own head, that has ramifications. Now, the constant time-traveling that Kon and him have been employing have also created problems due to the different paradoxes that it brings, including one that could destroy them all.

I'm so going to miss this run once that it's over.

Aaron Kuder has brought a story that creates a lot of interesting concepts for the character of Superboy, the author doesn't ignore Jon Lane Kent's complicated story but he actually embraces it to develope a tale where multiple Superboys from different realities can exist and all of them look quite interesting.

Jon also receive some pretty good character moments in his own subconscious where he has to face Kon, or at least one version of him, it's a pretty good development for the protagonist and one that brings a good sense of resolution.

The different realities theme also plays an important role for the rest of the members from the cast and it makes the whole story for the lack of a better term, fun. It's just a quite entertaining issue and one of the best from this title.

Jorge Jimenez delivers one of his best artwork on this title so far with a lot of beautiful and detailed artwork as well as some quite compelling storytelling choices.

Best issue from this run so far, I wish that Kuder would receive more writing gigs.
