Some thoughts about Futures End #11

The repercussions of Green Arrow's death are still being felt.

Frankenstein and the rest of S.H.A.D.E. are still trying to investigate the death of Stormwatch, Mister Terrific has just discovered Terry McGuinnis' presence and Ronnie Raymond will have face Roy Harper for his actions.

This actually was a much better issue than I was expecting.

It might be because there's a bigger focus in characters that I enjoy like Roy as well as how he's handling the death of Ollie but I thought that the character work was much better here. Not only for him but also for Frankenstein and his team, their dynamic is definitely improving.

This was also a stronger chapter because they're finally dealing with Green Arrow/Firestorm sub-plot that started from the beginning so you feel a sesne of progression here.

It bears to mention that a Wildstorm character who didn't appear for a while in the New 52 finally makes another appearance, good to see her.

The artwork is handled by Georges Jeanty and his work is pretty competent overall, there's no particularly impressive character models nor scenes but everything looks solid at least.

Enjoyable issue, hopefully the next one will continue this trend.
