Some thoughts about The Flash #33

The Flash is about to face his enemies in different timelines.

Future Flash is decided to stop the Trickster from commiting one of his worst crimes, no matter what this would imply. Meanwhile in the present, Barry Allen needs to keep helping Wally West while also trying to stop the culprit of the murders that have been occurring lately but it might not all be what it appears.

Okay, we got a lot of revelations in this issue, let's see what worked and what didn't shall we?

First of all, the segments focused on the Future Flash are pretty good. The battle between Barry Allen and the Trickster from that time is well-paced just like the reasons that started it, the resolution is a pretty satisfying one.

In the present, the mystery about the most recent murders is finally getting clear, there's some classic misdirection here since despite that Barry might think he got the killer, things are far from over. This will continue in the next issue and hopefully it will get an interesting resolve.

However, I have to say that I didn't like the portrayal of Wally West in this one since he's depicted vandalizing once again which doesn't work as well considering that the creative team tried to make him more likable in the previous chapter.

Brett Booth continues to handle art duties and his work is as kinetic and powerful as ever, a lot of the scenes are quite intense and the artist is able to depict all of them perfectly.

Solid issue I would say, some flaws but nothing that hurts it too much.
