Bat-Mite will fix the entire nation if possible.
Gridlock is still fighting againts the current era even through politics and Bat-Mite will have to try to defeat him and save his friends before it's too late.
You just know that is a good issue when it starts by making fun of current politicians.
Dan Jurgens goes straight to satire in this final chapter where he makes Bat-Mite tries to fix some of the candidates and even him fails at trying to make an improvement over Donald Trump. These are the little details that makes this cartoony story work.
The story progresses with the finally encounter between the protagonist and Gridlock and there are more mentions about the latter's love for the past like his obsession with Star Trek which is quite perfect all things considered, just as the way how he's defeated.
And the end manages to be quite charming by involving all the members from the cast.
Corin Howell delivers a quite nice work on art duties thanks to her cartoony style that manages to get the best from the comedic moments and is especially good when it focuses on the politicians.
One of the best chapters from this miniseries and it makes me sad that is over.
