What happens in a world without war?
Eirene, the Goddess of Peace, has been manipulating the people who has been threatening Diana all this time and now she will be forced to fight the deity to save Donna and herself.
Who knew that the Goddess of Peace would be so conflictive?
Meredith Finch delivers a new chapter that is so stupid that I don't know where to begin with. Let's talk about Eirene first, her plan is based on how a world without war is even worse for her due that without war people are violent just for the sake of being violent and that war actually motivates them to use such violence against a common foe.
This is so blatantly idiotic that makes me wonder if the writer actually knows that wars are created most of the time by governments for their personal interests and that soldiers usually go to serve their country and even if that wasn't the case, violence is violence no matter the objective. Eirene's mission makes no sense.
There are some interesting developments at the end like the return of both Apollo and Ares but still leaves me scratching my head about how it happened.
David Finch's art is actually pretty solid with good character models and presentation. No complaints.
This was so bad that it was almost fun but it was bad nonetheless.
