Why do the Omega Men need Kyle Rayner?
The group is currently being tortured for info and their only hope is the Green Lantern they captured and is Kyle's responsibility to save their lives as well as millions.
Believe it or not, I actually liked this one.
Tom King brings a new chapter where he showcases some of the best aspects of his work. The presentation certainly shines and allows for some powerful moments being both in terms of action and character. The members of the cast get some of their best scenes in the entire series in this issue and make you actually care for them.
Mind you, I'm still not a fan of the whole religious angle that was given to Kyle out of nowhere that most likely created on purpose just for the sake of create the moment that is shown here and for that matter ends-up being pretty forced. Plus, the stereotype of making Hispanic people quite religious is getting tiring.
Barnaby Bagenda handles the art again and once again, is really good with a nice sense of storytelling and an unique style.
Solid issue I would say despite of some complaints.
