Some thoughts about Batman #46

Mr. Bloom is threatening Gotham City and there's little that Batman can do.

Jim Gordon is trying to do his best to stop the new villain in town but his abilities are not enough to stop him and even if his boss allows him to continue this desperate mission, it might still be too much for him.

The Jim Gordon as Batman era continues and once again, this was an okay enough chapter.

Scott Snyder brings a new issue where he concentrates on several players. Gordon is still portrayed accurately based on his personality and situation which automatically makes you root for him. Bruce is also present here as usual and his development continues to progress by showing him happier than ever but at the same time it makes you realize that the city needs Batman and sadly, that one is not Gordon.

Other members from the cast manage to shine like Luke Fox and his quest to help everyone. There are enough sub-plots to make this a pretty content-packed read.

Greg Capullo continues on art duties and of course this is a beautiful work full of great storytelling like you would expect.

Solid installment I would say but I hope the story starts progressing more.
