Some thoughts about Transformers #47

Cybertron might be quite close to start a war once again.

Optimus is trying to do his best to save his own race from falling into the same mistakes despite that everyone has their own plans about how to handle their future and they all might have completely different visions of what's the best for them.

Once again, this proves to be a quite entertaining story.

John Barber continues to build-up the path to the next event by delivering a new chapter where he explores the motivations of each key player in the story while at the same time progressing the plot with great effect.

Character-wise, there are several things to enjoy like the conversations between Spike and Blackrock, Optimus and the Torchbearers, Cosmos and Soundwave, Tracks and Needlenose, Starscream and Bumblebee, etc. Each segment focusing on their interactions manages to explore more about their motivations and characterization and certainly makes you interesting in their future.

Not only that but such scenes also develope the story nicely with several sub-plots going on aside from the main one. The issue is really content-packed in that regard.

Sara Pitre-Durocher is in charge of the art once again and it actually looks even more impressive than the last time with beautiful characters and pretty precise storytelling.

Great issue, I'm really exited for the next one.
