The Teen Titans will need to realize they need to stay together.
Manchester Black has been manipulating the team for way too long and that's about to bite him once that the members of the team find the truth.
You know, I was initially pretty excited about this book.
Will Pfeifer started with such potential, with such a young voice and concepts for the team that I actually thought that the future was bright. However, with the recent issues and this one included, the writer has failed to give the title a proper focus with uninteresting or messy stories and sub-plots that are solved in an unsatisfying way.
And the characterization can be pretty bad too. For some reason Tim and Kon were "best friends" now despite that in this continuity they hardly were friends to begin with, they also seem to forgive Kid Flash's actions way too easily and he even has the ever to be offended about Tim's leadership skills, etc. It simply doesn't make sense.
About the plot, is not much better. Last issue Pfeifer sadly reintroduced Harvest, one of the worts things from the last volume, and now he introduces the Alpha Centurion from Doomed with no real reason for him to be here. Is just a bad way to create tension.
Ricken and Paolo Pantalena handle the artwork and the result is a pretty awkward look that doesn't seem consistent over the course of the issue and has bad storytelling.
Yep, this is bad and I hope we get some changes at this point.
