What is the "Lipstick Incident"?
Archie and Betty have been together since they were kids but something made them part ways and it has been everybody's talk since then.
This title is back and is as good as ever fortunately.
Mark Waid finally reveals the little plot-point he created at the beginning of this series that made Archie and Betty broke up and is actually a pretty creative way to do it. The characterization works wonderfully here and it makes you care for both characters and their relationship while at the same time making the events that happened quite understandable and realistic.
The dialogue helps this a lot due that the writer is able to create a pretty natural dialogue that is full of personality and charm without being overly forced. The conversations between the cast is something always enjoyable.
Annie Wu is in charge of the art and fortunately she's able to follow the style that was created at the beginning by Fiona Staples nicely while also depicting the story perfectly.
Quite entertaining issue, is everything I wished for.
