Aquaman doesn't need to fight alone anymore.
Arthur has been feeling terrible after being deceived by Siren but there are bigger concerns at hand since her people are still going after him and he will need the help of Wonder Woman to survive.
Well, this is the definition of a filler issue.
It's pretty obvious that things are coming to an abrupt end for Cullen Bunn's run on Aquaman since what was initially solicited as an encounter between Aquaman and Ocean Master is now an encounter between Aquaman and Wonder Woman.
And is pretty mediocre stuff really. Bunn tries to use this chapter to make Arthur realize that he needs to trust his friends in the Justice League but does it in a quite dull way without really bringing any surprise or powerful moment from any character here. Is a quite dull story that feels mostly like a waste of pages.
Is there a mention about Arthur's rape? Maaaaaybe? At the beginning it seemed like it was going to be that way but I'm not so sure.
Vicente Cifuentes is in charge of the art here and is actually pretty solid with good looking characters and clear storytelling.
Aside from that, you can perfectly skip this issue and don't miss anything.
