Some thoughts about Secret Six #8

The Secret Six will have to learn if they care enough for each other.

The supernatural side of the world is hunting Black Alice while Catman and the rest of the world try to decide if they really want to save her. However, their problems are just starting.

Okay, this was kind of a mess and not in a good way.

Gail Simone brings a new chapter where she continues to develope most of the cast and their relationships and for the most part it works since there are some genuinely good character moments where you can note that this group of misfits are starting to feel like a family.

However, the pacing is terrible. The story jumps constantly from place to place without giving a rest and that makes the whole story feel disjointed and at times it makes you wonder how the characters arrived to some settings.

Dale Eaglesham and Tom Derenick continue to share art duties and their styles kinda clash and that doesn't help to make the story more consistent. It still looks good though.

Not really good technically. Hope this title gets back in track.
