Some thoughts about Superman: Lois and Clark #2

The Superman family is in trouble.

Lois and Clark not only have to deal with the fact of raising a superpowered child but also with people from both Earth and other planets that are coming after them.

Well, this was certainly a nice improvement over the previous issue.

Dan Jurgens brings a new chapter where he continues to focus on the relationship between Lois, Clark and their son and how they need to adapt to this new world to survive. The characterization is spot-on with every conversation showing the personalities they have as well as how much they care for each other and actually act like a real family.

There are also some interesting sub-plots going on like the organization that is going after them, Hank Henshaw and the person from other planet who is targeting them. Solid content.

Lee Weeks handles the art once again and his work is quite good with a clean style, good looking characters and clear storytelling. At times it even looks pretty similar to Jurgens' own work.

Pretty enjoyable issue, hope that the following ones are as good.
