To defend the people he swore to protect, Superman will have to face his own mortality.
Fighting terrible monsters is not enough if Clark wants to stop anyone from getting hurt since the worst monters could actually be humans. Now, Clark will have no other choice but fight back despite of the ramifications this could bring.
The crossover Truth continues and so far, Action Comics continues to deliver some of the strongest chapters.
Greg Pak arrives with his usual strong characterization for Clark Kent where he concentrates on the recently found mortality for Superman and how that affects his fight against all the threats he could encounter. Clark continues to be immensily relatable and the most human he has been portrayed in this series so far, it's definitely a quite likable depiction.
Not only that, but the author gives a lot of personality to other characters who appear here and manage to give them good reasons to root for them. Plus, some of the villains are quite realistic considering what happens in the real world.
Aaron Kuder continues in art duties and his work is as beautiful as usual but what shines the most here is the storytelling due that he's able to follow each scene from the script perfectly.
Excellent issue and one that you shouldn't miss.
