Kon has apparently committed a terrible crime and the Martian Manhunter is ready to make him for it. Now, Red Robin is ready to demonstrate this is not true despite that his team might be against it.
As an Annual, this offered the right amount of content.
Will Pfeifer and Tom King bring a story where they start creating plot-points about what is happening to Superboy. Not only that but they also introduce a new character who has connections to the team and also the Martian Manhunter.
The characterization continues to be pretty solid with each member of the cast showing a different perspective about the case. The ideas are also well-implemented.
Plus, it presents an interesting last page where many characters re-appear.
The art sadly, is a bit inconsistent. Is handled by Alisson Borges and Wes St. Claire and while some of the scenes look good, others look kinda unrefined.
Still, I think this serves a lot to the overaching story and I hope all of the sub-plots are explored in the future. Solid issue overall.
