Some thoughts about Green Arrow #13

Can Green Arrow survive being an outlaw?

Oliver and Dinah are running from the law after he was accussed of being a murderer but both will have to do better than that if they want the whole city to trust them again.

Ollie: "I love this city".

Dinah: "Tell me why?".

*Ollie gives a natural explanation about why*

Dinah: "I will forgive you for mansplaining".

*EPIC FACEPALM*

Not surprised though, I know how Ben Percy works at this point. He tries to inject as many buzzwords as he can in a superficial way in a vain intent of sounding "political" and "relevant". However, one would think that at least he would get the kind of buzzwords he uses right. "Mansplaining" is a term when a man explains something to a woman in a PATRONIZING way, something that didn't happen here and even if that wasn't enough, DINAH ASKED FOR HIS F*CKING OPINION!

And this is particularly illogical since Percy should be an expert of mansplaining at this point. His run has been nothing but patronizing ideas that are throw at your face like blunt objects.

Not my only complaint about this issue though since Percy drops the name of Tommy Merlyn as it was nothing, mentioning how he has been acting as a mercenary because why building-up his appearance since he can do it easily and unsatisfyingly right?

About the plot, is mostly focused on Ollie and Dinah trying to reclaim Green Arrow's good name... by beating up cops who is not really clear if were culprit of something to deserve such treatment but hey, is cool as long as their message is sent.

The only thing that saves this stupid story is Otto Schmidt's artwork which continues to be beautiful with a great sense of style and storytelling.

Jesus, this issue. Percy focuses so many of his ticks here that is simply obnoxious. Glad that I put this on the Top Ten worst list.
