There are consequences after all the things that Clark has faced recently and he knows he needs to talk to his loved ones before his time is over. However, things won't be so simple since people around the world are getting powers similar to his.
The beginning of a new storyarc and so far it seems like a promising one.
Peter Tomasi offers a chapter where he concentrates on the ramifications of all the different threats that Clark had to face in the past. I have to say that the writer does a nice job at fixing the continuity due that he's able to create a connection between the Darkseid War, Truth and Rao storylines while creating a logical development about it.
The characterization works really well due that the writer manages to included some important people in Clark's life and give them good moments to each one while at the same time developing Clark's own character. The plot is also interesting and it makes me wonder where is going.
Mikel Janin is one of the best aspects from this issue thanks to his beautiful artwork that is able to create gorgeous characters and depict the story in a strong manner.
Solid jumping on point. Hope the rest of the story is just as good.
