Black Canary needs to unveil more mysteries about her past and she will need the help of Batgirl to do so.
Recently Dinah has been suffering attack after attack from different persons and beings but things are getting more personal this time once that she learns that her whole family was involved in something ore dangerous than she could have ever imagined.
This worked nicely as expected.
Brenden Fletcher returns to his own story by focusing on the main plot as well as the relationship between Dinah and Barbara and both aspects are developed in an effective manner. The dynamic between the characters is perfectly depicted here, the author obviously know how each one of them should behave as well as how important both are for each other. Their conversations are pretty natural and enjoyable just as best friends' interactions should be.
The ongoing story progresses really well too by revealing more aspects about Dinah's background and how all of this is connected to her parents. I really hope that the resolution is satisfying.
Moritat and Sandy Jarrel share pencils and sadly, it doesn't work as well. Both styles look good enough (especially Moritat's) but the storytelling can be clunky at times.
Still, this was pretty enjoyable and is a shame the series is going to end soon.
