Some thoughts about Constantine: The Hellblazer #11

Constantine doesn't want to care about New York but Deadman knows that his their only chance.

John has tried to come to an agreement with Gabriel but it might not be enough. Now, with all hope lost he has decided to quit not knowing that things are going to get even worse.

Okay, several things worked this time.

Ming Doyle and James Tynion IV continue their story by expanding more of the supernatural side of the DCU including the reinvention of the angel Gabriel and his place in this world. Is overall faithful to past portrayals and manages to get an interesting interaction with Constantine.

The same goes for the encounter with Deadman. Both characters show an enjoyable dynamic which is logical considering their history as members of Justice League Dark. I just think that John got rid of Boston a bit too quickly.

Travel Foreman returns to art duties and his work is still quite appropriate to the series by making the supernatural moments even more bizarre and creative.

Solid overall, let's see if it continues this way until the end.
