Just when it appears that Logan is about to find peace, his past comes back for him once again.
The X-Men have found Logan and want him to join them despite that he might not be the same person they remember. However, his enemies are also excited to find him.
Once again, this proves to be a quite worthy depiction of the character.
Jeff Lemire delivers a new chapter where continues to explore Logan's past and how that connects him to current events. The story is certainly faithful to the original Old Man Logan storyline and depicts several key moments from it, including what pushed Wolverine to quit. Continuity-wise this works quite well.
The characterization is also pretty strong with Logan being a pretty understandable and symphatetic protagonist based on his actions and interactions with others which show different sides of him. The plot also takes and interesting twist at the end.
Andrea Sorrentino remains in art duties and he's still incredibly consistent at delivering gorgeous scenes with great storytelling. One of my favorite segments is when Logan is traveling the road and the different settings are depicted. Impressive.
Yet another great installment, the next one better arrive soon.
