Some thoughts about Sinestro #22

Soranik is the new leader of the Sinestro Corps or at least that's what she believes.

Soranik is trying to give her group a new direction and protect the universe the right way. However, his father's presence will always be there and things will become worse once that the Red Lanterns finally decide to strike.

This is mostly a set-up issue and it works decently at that.

Cullen Bunn offers a new chapter where he focuses on Soranik and how she handles the Sinestro Corps. The characterization is solid with her showing a lot of her classic aspects that make her different from her father which obviously contrast nicely with Sinestro's personality and they have some interesting moments between them.

The Red Lanterns sub-plot comes full force and is good to know that Bunn is finally developing it, I hope it receives a good conclusion. Aside from that, this issue was a bit light on content with not a lot happening really.

Martin Coccolo handles the artwork and is pretty appealing with expressive characters and solid storytelling.

Not bad overall but not particularly impressive, the next one better be better.
