Cyborg is in the government's hands but this is still far from over.
What it appears to be Victor's mother has been telling him and his father to trust the people from the Red Room to experiment on him. However, Victor is starting to realize that not all of this is what it seems.
Colour me surprised here.
Marv Wolfman arrives to write the character he created and so far I must say that he does a more successful job than David Walker. He portrays a Victor Stone who can be incredibly smart, competent and funny without exaggerating any of those aspects (especially the latter which was pretty prominent during Walker's run but depicted him as more stupid than anything else). Not only that but, unlike in the previous run, Victor actually SHOWS those traits instead of just being told that he's that way. This is a perfect showcase of what the character should be.
The story shows some logical and interesting twists by following the sub-plots that were already created and giving them a pretty good conclusion while also giving the protagonist some closure.
Felipe Watanabe, Daniel HDR and Julio Ferreira handle the artwork and is pretty consistent during the course of the issue with expressive characters and a pretty clean style.
Solid, is not an impressive piece of work but is by far the best I've read from this book.
