Some thoughts about New Suicide Squad #19

The Suicide Squad is about to enter into a death game.

A deranged man has manipulated the team into fight another bunch of assassins to survive. However, they know they must be another way to escape from this.

God, I'm so going to miss this run.

Tim Seeley offers a new chapter where he continues the story about the Squad being forced to fight for their lives. One of the strongest aspects here is the characterization due that the writer manages to give each member from the cast solid moments including Deadshot, Harley, El Diablo, Waller, etc. Even characters like Cheetah who only receive a few scenes, are perfectly depicted by them.

The style that Seeley uses is also interesting due that he manages to apparently introduce an old-school villain in a format that is reminiscent of the past. The story is also interesting despite that is mostly about a big battle.

Juan Ferreyra remains in art duties and his work is still not the best looking but is fantastic at storytelling due that he depicts every scene and segment in a compelling way.

A great issue full of nice content. Wish Seeley would continue in this book.
