Some thoughts about Green Arrow #46

Green Arrow will need to help Tarantula to save the people she cares about.

Oliver has been forced to go to Mexico to face a strange band of criminals who dress like skeletons and are mudering all the people around them, this could be even harder than Ollie anticipated.

Well, this pretty much goes the way you would expect at this point.

Ben Percy delivers a new chapter and is actually not a bad one story-wise. The idea is about how Ollie needs to face some typical Mexican costumed villains (a bit too typical for my taste but eh) to try to help Tarantula only to discover that she has been manipulating him to save her cousin... which doesn't make much sense since he could also have saved her cousin anyway... ah goddammit, I'm already finding problems with this plot!

One of the problems here, as usual, is Percy's narration that is too overworked for its own good and is not that interesting by itself, the characters take themselves more seriously than they should. Not to mention that I'm not a fan of the overly-stereotypical Mexican word "andale" (which I don't think they say that much these days).

I was hoping that Patrick Zircher would be in charge of the full issue but instead he's accompanied by Fabrizio Fiorentino who sadly doesn't do as good as him and their styles kinda clash.

Mediocre overall but not as terrible as previous efforts.
