People have been causing pain over others and Midnighter will need to stop that from happening agains.
A woman is suffering due to the loss of one of her loved ones and she's ready to make the persons responsible pay. However, Midnighter thinks that there might be a much more satisfying solution for such problem.
This series continues with yet another successful chapter.
Steve Orlando arrives with an one-and-done tale that also works for an overaching plot that is going on behind the scenes. The perspective from Marina, the person who Lucas has to fight here, is quite understandable and present an interesting conflict and commentary about corporations that receives an interesting solution at the end.
However, one of the strongest aspects from this chapter is the character work and the writer manages to make Mignighter a quite relatable person despite of his unique background based on the kind of relationships he has. Not to mention that the presence of his ex-boyfriend, Apollo is felt during the course of the story and certainly makes you care about the bond they have.
Alec Morgan takes over art duties for this issue and he thankfully does a good job at keeping the kind of presentation that ACO developed in the previous chapter along with delivering an unique style.
Great issue, one of the strongest this week.
