Some thoughts about Superman/Wonder Woman #8

Superman is changing, what can Wonder Woman do about it?

Clark has not been the same since his encounter with Doomsday and Diana will have to use all of her skill to find the reason why. No matter if the relationship has not been easy until this point, Diana will have to do everything she can to save Clark's life.

"Doomed" part 3 and I'm calling it, this is one of the best Superman crossovers from the New 52 already.

Charles Soule is in charge of writing this chapter of the story and he probably does the best job so far. This issue is concentrated in Wonder Woman and her struggles to try to help Clark from Doomsday's influence while also interacting with the rest of the people from his life. I'm not kidding when I say that Soule gets the best from this crossover and uses it in his favor, he actually utilizes the basic plot from this event and manages to make it worthwhile.

His characterization of Diana is pitch-perfect and he is able to bring several plot-points not only from this series but also from Wonder Woman's main one by referencing her status as the Goddess of War as well as how Superman is not really integrated into that book. All is perfectly developed and feels natural considering what has been happening on the story so far.

Tony Daniel is on pencils for the whole issue and his work continues to impress with his gorgeous characters, intense action and wonderful detail.

Best chapter from this event, I can't wait for the next one.
