Some thoughts about Loki: Agent of Asgard #4

A hero from the past is coming for the Loki of the present.

Sigurd the Ever-Glorious has come to the mountain where Kaluu, the master of black magic resides to tell him the story about how he defeated Loki, the trickster God to gain favors from him, not knowing that there's more than meets the eye during the whole deal.

What more can I say about this series that I haven't said yet?

As usual the writing is incredibly smart, Al Ewing does a fantastic job by creating a quite clever script with witty dialogue and the surprises at the end are also pretty ingenious. It's always cool to see how Ewing's Loki is planning to defeat his enemies and the way he does it brilliant and makes me smile every time.

But seriously, that twist at the end might be one of my favorites from this week (if not one of my favorites recently), it's just so well crafted that it turns to be incredibly satisfying.

Lee Garbett continues to bring the besuty to this series with extremely gorgeous characters and action, diverse and beautiful settings and pitch-perfect storytelling. I love it.

Favorite Marvel title of the week, nothing else comes even close.
