Some thoughts about Green Lantern Corps #31

The war against the Durlans is just beginning and if the Green Lantern Corps want to stand a chance they will need to save their lost members.

The Durlans have been impersonating members from the Corps for a while and the true owners of such rings have been imprisoned waiting to be executed, including one of the most powerful members from the Corps who could be the key about the Durlan's most dangerous plans.

"Uprising" part 2, this time written by Van Jensen and I must say that this issue certainly delivered in the surprise factor.

The best aspects from this series have always been when it focus on the different members from the GLC and what makes them unique, this issue is no different by showcasing a really huge roster of members from different worlds and presenting their personalities in pretty compelling ways. It's necessary to mention that Jensen continues to deliver some of the best characterization for John Stewart I've seen in years of course.

Oh and the big surprise, let's just say that a long-lost member from the Corps is finally reintroduced in the New 52, I'm glad he wasn't forgotten.

Bernard Chang continues to deliver a stunning work on pencils with really strong character models and action accompanied by Marcelo Maiolo's vibrant and powerful colors that makes Chang's work even better.

Excellent issue and I'm happy to say that this crossover is quite good so far.
