Some thoughts about Action Comics #31

Superman has just killed Doomsday but has he truly defeated him?

Clark has been feeling strangely since the most recent fight against the creature, for some reasons he can't control his impulses and rage and that could end-up being quite dangerous for the world, so much that other people are already planning to stop him.

The second part of the "Doomed" crossover and I'm glad to say that this issue also delivers a quite competent plot.

The story focuses this time on Clark's changes and how these are affecting his behavior, he's willing to commit actions that he usually wouldn't and his internal conflict is something quite interesting to behold. Greg Pak does an excellent job at portraying the character as usual with a quite perfect depiction of him.

This issue also focuses in Steel and his future involvement in the plot and it presents some pretty intriguing development including what appears to be a new redesign for his look. Pretty good so far.

Aaron Kuder is helped this time by Rafa Sandoval and Cameron Stewart in pencils and they all do a pretty good and consistent job at handling the whole issue by maintaining a similar tone during the whole story.

Another satisfying chapter of this event, surprised about how much I'm enjoying it.
