Some thoughts about Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #2

Something terrible has happened to K'un Lun, will Danny be able to save it?

Danny has just survived the attack from a mysterious group of assassins who have a connection to the person who just attacked Iron Fist's old home. Danny will try to return while reminiscing key aspects of his past but it might already be too late.

The second issue from this ongoing series based in Iron Fist and I must say that this is not only one of the most gorgeous series based on the character but also one of the most compelling.

Kaare Andrews' story is one that's pretty competent and unique in comparison to the ones told from the past. While Andrews' portrayal of Danny might be a bit more serious than usual, he compensates it with some really surprising and compelling revelations about this past and an interesting new motivation.

The depiction of K'un Lun is also a pretty good one. Some of the aspects that happened in the past are still relevant and Andrews is already creating an intriguing mystery about the attack to this place.

The art is magnificent, Andrews' pencils are pretty creative, distinctive and are able to tell his own story in an even better way than the narration. I certainly enjoy how both the writing and the art complement each other here.

Another wonderful issue, this series is in good hands.
