Some thougths about Batman/Superman #10

Batman's life is in peril and only Superman and Ray Palmer will be able to save him.

Microscopic organisms have invaded Batman's brain since their last adventure and both Clark and Ray will have to enter into his body as microorganisms to fight them. Will both of them be able to survive in this unknown environment?

A fill-in issue for this series due that both Greg Pak and Jae Lee are delaying their story for a month, but man, this is how every fill-in should be done.

You people must know that I love Jeff Lemire but I wasn't sure how exactly he was going to develope both Superman and Batman on this issue but I'm happy to say that he has done a wonderful job at writing both of them, their characterization is pitch-perfect and their voices are exactly what you would expect from them including a few surprising and humourous moments.

This also marks the proper reintroduction of Ray Palmer as The Atom and it works greatly. Lemire has a clear love for the character based on how he wrote him in Brightest Day and Frankenstein but in this issue he explores a lot of his history including a few moments reminiscing the old-school series Swrod of the Atom.

Both Karl Kerschl and Scott Hepburn share art duties for this issue and their styles work pretty well with one another, the tone remains cohesive for the rest of the story.

Overall, a great entry on this series, you shouldn't miss this out.
