Some thoughts about Worlds Blandest #23

Both Power Girl and Huntress have decided to go back to their world.

However, it will take a long time before this happens.

A looooong time.

Yeah, it's no secret that this series is dragging, we have 20+ issues as the proof, but this issue especially was ridiculous in that aspect. Karen is building a machine that will helps them to return home while also revealing her true identity to her workers and Helena needs to save one of such from a random criminal. That's your plot.

This series has been one of the worst offenders from the New 52 in terms of pacing and content, it not only fails at delivering good revelations about the plot but also at giving interesting insights about these characters.

I will give this to Paul Levitz though, I thought that the scene where Karen reveals her identity was well done, I just wish I could get something worthwhile from it.

R.B. Silva and Yildiray Cinar both share pencils on this issue and their work is pretty good, especially Cinar's with his beautiful and expressive characters. No complaints on the art front as usual.

Mediocre issue as expected, I wish I could be wrong sometimes.
