Some thoughts about Batman and Frankenstein #31

Batman will need the aid of Frankenstein if he wants to recover the corpse of his son, if he's willing to cooperate of course.

Batman and Frankenstein didn't have one of the best encounters last time but despite of this, Frank will understand that Bruce is just doing all of this for his son. However, that doesn't mean that the mission will be any easier since Ra's Al Ghul is leading some of the most bizarre creatures in the place to stop them.

The third chapter from "The Hunt for Robin" storyarc and Peter Tomasi is quickly turning it into one of his best stories yet in this series.

This time the adventure focuses on the two title characters of course and it's great to see how Tomasi explores the ramifications from their last interaction, both portrayals are prefectly in-character and Tomasi shows a great expertise and handling both.

The dialogue works pretty well, especially during the moments of humour. The author clearly loves Frnakenstein and gives him a lot of funny lines during the course of the issue.

Doug Mahnke is in charge of the artwork for this issue and he does a terrific job as usual with great storytelling technique and strong depiction of the action. Plus, it's always good to see him draw Frankenstein again.

Highly entertaining chapter, really want to see the conclusion now.
