Lois has committed a desperate move to try to reach Kal, but just because he's still able to recognize her that doesn't mean that everything will be over. Meanwhile, Batman's group is under attack and only one person can save them, the most powerful man of Earth 2.
Yes, YES, YES! This is what I was talking about! I can't really comment much about this issue without spoiling it but the person that I was hoping to be reintroduced the most finally appeared and his portrayal was perfect based on his characterization under James Robinson. In fact, I would say that they should have saved the cover from last issue for this one, it's much more appropiate.
Tom Taylor actually does a better job this time to give more focus to other characters aside from the Superman-related ones, despite that some of them probably won't survive as Fate has prophesied.
Nicola Scott continues to handle art duties and her work is absolutely gorgeous. Characters are beautiful, action is intense and the storytelling is quite on-point, one of my favorite parts of this title each month.
Excellent issue and I hope that futures ones follow the same trend. My only complaint is that it was a bit of a fast read as usual but at least this time it was a satisfying one.
