Some thoughts about Batwoman #31

Batwoman's hunt for the Wolf Spider continues and the problems on her personal life increase.

Kate has learned about the current problems that her girlfriend Maggie is having with the custody of her daughter and she's willing to help her no matter the cost. Meanwhile, the Wolf Spider continues his robbery around Gotham City despite of the amount of people he's hurting.

Marc Andreyko continues to deliver one of the best characterizations for Kate Kane in this series.

Andreyko is able to portray Kate as a pretty competent heroine full of personality surrounded by a supporting cast that also follows the same kind of strong points. The dialogue certainly helps to this thanks to pretty natural narration and interesting dynamics between the members of the cast.

Plus, the sub-plots are quite good including one focusing on the villain Nocturna that will most certainly be used in future installments. However, I must say that the mystery about the Wolf Spider is not truly a mystery since the clues are pretty obvious, still the good points overshadow the bad ones.

Jeremy Haun continues to deliver a wonderful artwork thanks to his gothic, clean and expressive style that continues to be perfect for the tone of the story.

Another solid issue, let's see how this story concludes.
