Power Girl's abilities are still malfunctioning.
Yeah, that plot-point is still going, just deal with it.
As I have mentioned several times before, I don't like this Karen Starr. She's still the same self-absorbed, useless, stupid and immature that she has been since issue 1 and we're in issue 19 already, we should have seen some change by now!
I will give writer Paul Levitz this though: The interaction between the heroines is well done and he makes them like normal friends. Plus, this issue surprisingly had more story which is understandable since the upcoming "First Contact" crossover story with Batman/Superman is coming.
Still, there were a lot of awkward moments here, Karen's staff know that she's Power Girl right? I mean, she just shoot lasers in front of them for Pete's sake! They can't be so stupid to think that it was produced by some "explosion".
Scott McDaniel and R.B. Silva handle the art and they continue to deliver a pretty good job at portraying the conversations between the characters and the action scenes. No complaints.
Better issue than usual actually but still dull enough to keep calling it World's Blandest.
