Some thoughts about The Movement #8

The final battle against The Graveyard Faction could prove to be truly disastrous.

Mouse has been heavily injured and Vengeance Moth is about to suffer an even worse fate. Now, the remaining members of The Movement will have to face this twisted team of metahumans if they want to survive.

Gail Simone delivers a quite impressive ending for this arc that has been building since issue 1. Simone excels at creating a compelling interaction between all the members of the cast and developes each one of them as pretty competent characters. I especially enjoyed how satisfying the conclusion of the corrupted cops felt, it's was just great.

Also, I wanted more romance between Virtue and Sarah Rainmaker and this issue delivered on that front.

Freddie Williams II continues as the ongoing artist and is amazing how consistent he is by creating a dynamic and detailed work each month.

Excellent issue. Shame that more people aren't checking this book.
