Some thoughts about Supergirl #27

After apparently killing Lobo, Supergirl will have to deal with the consequences.

The only person in the world who can help her is Doctor Veritas, unfortunately she has her own problems with strange evil beings.

This is the second issue of Tony Bedard's run and so far it's okay but nothing really to write home about. Bedard portrays a Kara who is sick and tired of how her life has been destroyed in past events and he's clearly setting her for her upcoming role as a Red Lantern by developing her anger issues and expanding them. Sadly, there's nothing particularly distinctive about how he handles these aspects.

Yldiray Cinar continues on pencils and he's frankly the highlight of this issue. He has a really clean, expressive and vibrant drawing style that is pretty appealing.

Decent issue as I said but it can be better.
