Batman's team are about to receive a new member.
Superman's is destroying the world along with the hope of its people by decimating their Wonders.and Batman will have to release another prisoner if he wants to have a possibilty against this threat. However, not everything is lost, a hero will return to aid them and another will prove that he's way too strong to stay dead.
Tom Taylor continues to produce a good script especially in comparison to James Robinson's run. There's much more content, the narration flows more naturally and each issue delivers an interesting twist. It was great to see returning characters and it's also good to know that the origins of the new Batman will be revealed on the Annual also coming this month.
There's a problem though, I don't think that the new character's origin is the most adequate.. I was honestly hoping for a new martian for Earth 2 to add some diversity and the actual alien race of the new member of Batman's group makes him look a bit redundant, not to mention derivative.
Nicola Scott produces an outstanding work that never disappoints. The character segments are great and the action is powerfully depicted.
Another good issue but there are some problems that bother me as I mentioned, I hope that Taylor focuses on more varied characters in the future.
